Chirag has been part of the Indian venture ecosystem since the very start of his career, gaining rare, end-to-end exposure across multiple phases of the venture capital cycle. He began as one of the initial team members at an early-stage fund, where he played a key role in setting up the fund and went on to be closely involved in fund raising.

Over the years, Chirag has built a strong sourcing engine and deep founder relationships across the Indian startup ecosystem, translating proprietary deal flow. He has led and contributed to investments across consumer & consumer-tech, fintech, and B2B marketplaces, with hands-on experience spanning business diligence, commercial negotiations, and transaction closure. Post-investment, he worked closely with portfolio companies, supporting them through their growth and scaling journeys.

Chirag brings a practitioner’s perspective to early-stage investing, shaped by having seen the full lifecycle of venture investing—from building a pipeline and underwriting opportunities to partnering with founders through execution.

Chirag is a Commerce graduate and a Chartered Accountant by Qualification.

Outside of work, he is a sports enthusiast and can often be found playing cricket, swimming, or closely following Formula 1.
